Diploma in Computer Application (DCA) Syllabus and Eligibility

Evaluation, Assignments, and Examination Scheme
Evaluation in diploma courses consists of two mandatory components:
1. Continuous Assessment (30% weightage): Submission of all prescribed assignment work before the term-end exam is compulsory.
2. Term-End Examination (70% weightage): Conducted at the end of 1 year. An 8-credit subject carries a 3-hour examination for 70 marks, while a 4-credit subject carries 35 marks.

- Log in to the BAOU student admission portal to download your Student Admission Letter and Student Identity Card (I-Card). Printable digital I-Cards are available on the portal for academic sessions from August 2017 onwards.
- To request a study center transfer due to relocation or personal reasons, submit an application with the required fee before the examination term ends or within 60 days of the publication of the admission list. Refer to the Learner Support Centers directory for available reporting centers.
- For corrections in student name, address, or subject choice in university records, apply within 60 days of admission list publication along with certified documentary proofs and a Demand Draft of Rs. 100.
- To change category details on record, submit the certified category document along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 200.
- If excess fee was submitted during registration, apply for a refund within 1 year with original fee receipts. The university refunds the extra amount after deducting administrative costs.
