Self Instructional Material (SIM) Features and Assignment Rules

BAOU Self Instructional Materials are custom-designed for distance learners to support self-paced learning without face-to-face contact. Every block is divided into structured units containing learning objectives, self-check progress questions, and sample answers.

Materials such as the BSCCS-102 Operating System SLM PDF feature conceptual diagrams, task manager exercises, and review questions at the end of each unit.

Learners must prepare one Tutor Marked Assignment (TMA) per paper. According to the MLIS programme guidelines, students must submit the original hard copy of their assignment to their assigned study center and retain a duplicate copy for their records.
